About The Position

The Junior Windows System Administrator gains familiarity with systems administration concepts, practices, and methodologies. With guidance, the role performs standard systems administration duties, documents assigned activities and progress, and learns and applies company and industry-standard systems administration policies and guidelines. The role also assists with special projects as assigned.

Applicants should have a BA/BS degree and 0–2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology; applicants should be eligible for any required U.S. Government authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and publish network diagrams and configurations.
• Perform daily administrative tasks, including device configuration and troubleshooting.
• Respond to issues and client requests.
• Evaluate client hardware requests for compliance, conformity, applicability, performance, and cost effectiveness.
• Research and analyze systems issues.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and documenting project tasks.
• Document assigned activities and progress.
• Learn and apply company and industry-standard systems administration policies and guidelines.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
