Junior UI/UX Designer
About The Position
Nerdio is seeking a detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join their growing product team. This role involves collaborating with product managers, developers, and other designers to create intuitive, user-centered experiences for their products. The ideal candidate will possess strong design skills, a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Nerdio is a fast-moving company focused on simplifying IT professionals' lives and maximizing their Microsoft cloud investments, supporting organizations globally with technologies like Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, and Microsoft Intune.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design or related field
- Understanding of user-centered design principles
- Experience in UI/UX design for B2B SaaS web applications
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience using AI-assisted tools such as Claude Design and Figma Make
- Strong portfolio showcasing complex and innovative design solutions
- Strong attention to detail and visual consistency
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
- Ability to listen to feedback and reiterate on designs
Nice To Haves
- Experience with usability testing or user research
- Front-end development principles
- Familiarity with accessibility standards
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing user interfaces and experiences
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers to help maintain and evolve design systems
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Support accessibility and usability practices
- Improve designs and systems based on internal and external feedback
- Participate in user research, testing, and feedback sessions
- Leverage AI-assisted design tools and emerging technologies to enhance the creation of mockups, prototypes, and visual concepts
- Create and maintain UI component libraries
