We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our legal team as a Junior Trial Attorney. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing a docket of employment law cases, ensuring efficient case progression, and achieving favorable outcomes for our clients.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
  • 2-3 years of litigation experience
  • Ideally, the candidate will have trial experience.
  • Strong background in procedural rules (e.g., Rule 23 of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure).
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines.
  • Project management and ability to work as a team player with litigation associates.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in court trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
  • Develop case strategies and present arguments before judges and juries.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Interview witnesses, gather evidence, and prepare for trial.
  • Negotiate settlements and plea agreements when appropriate.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on litigation matters.
  • Work collaboratively with legal teams, paralegals, and investigators.
  • Stay up to date with changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
  • Manage and supervis support staff.
  • Review and analyze complex employment law documents and contracts.
  • Monitor compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Participate in client development and business generation activities.
  • Maintain detailed case files and documentation.
  • Develop and implement litigation budgets.
  • Coordinate with expert witnesses and consultants.
