About The Position
This Junior Tennis Professional position focuses on instructing and supervising junior players in a structured and engaging environment. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and leading after-school group lessons held several days per week, as well as supporting seasonal programming such as morning camps, full-day camps, and afternoon group sessions during the summer. The role involves providing tennis instruction, coordinating activities, and ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
Requirements
- High School playing experience or working with children preferred
- Must hold or obtain within 90 days, CPR/AED and other certifications (provided by the Glenview Park District)
Responsibilities
- Provide beginning to intermediate instruction in camps and group lessons in a professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Expected to work a varied schedule including some weekends as needed
- Other administrative as assigned by the Supervisory staff
