About The Position

Prescient Edge is seeking a Junior Target Digital Network Analyst (TDNA) to support a Federal Government client. This position is contingent upon contract award. The role involves conducting advanced digital network analysis, performing tradecraft discovery operations, and drafting intelligence reports for national-level customers. The analyst will exploit foreign communications and communication systems to identify, collect, analyze, process, and disseminate intelligence. This includes advanced TDNA analysis focusing on foreign communications and communication systems, identifying, collecting, analyzing, processing, and disseminating intelligence. The role also requires conducting SIGINT discovery (SIGDEV) and research operations to develop and refine tradecraft for new adversary technologies, and collaborating with other SIGINT analysts and organizations for information sharing and target continuity. Analysts will cite records within NSA databases using enterprise citation tools, understand the OSI model, ports and protocols, IPv4/IPv6, CIDR, and common internet protocols. Responsibilities include crafting and executing complex queries, understanding communication protocols and network topologies, documenting analytical tradecraft and target knowledge, creating working aids, preparing briefings and reports on analytical methodology and results, and collaborating with Data Scientists to automate analytical workflows and enrich data. The analyst will solve complex intelligence analysis challenges using analytical judgment, critical thinking, and proven analytical practices, and evaluate technical information on targets of interest, identifying changes to technology or alternative communication means. This includes performing scientific and/or technical intelligence analysis on trends, implications of military force structure or doctrinal changes, or technical analysis of military systems.

Requirements

  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrate prior experience in the use of National Security Agency (NSA) software applications and databases associated with network analysis and target development, including but not limited to DataXplorer and XKEYSCORE
  • Complete required NSA Courses NETA2402/NETA2108 (TDNA Analysis II) & any of the following: RPTG2238, RPTG2235, RPTG3225, RPTG3222 (Basic Analytical Reporting) or equivalent curriculum; RPTG4397 (Analytic Report Editing) or RPTG4398 (Report Releaser’s Course)
  • Security clearance required TS/SCI w/ CI Polygraph
  • Understand Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model, ports and protocols associated with telecommunications technologies, IPv4 and IPv6 networks, Classless Interdomain Routing (CIDR), and common internet protocols

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrate relevant, senior, or higher TDNA experience in NSA production offices, service cryptologic production elements, and/or other relevant SIGINT production agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Appropriately cite records within NSA databases in enterprise citation tools
  • Craft and execute complex queries, understand multiple communication protocols, and network topologies
  • Document analytical tradecraft and target knowledge and create working aids to increase target continuity and facilitate information sharing and analyst collaboration
  • Prepare briefings & reports on analytical methodology and results
  • Collaborate with Data Scientist to automate analytical workflow and enrich data
