About The Position

Nascent is looking for a creative, curious, and driven Junior Talent Acquisition Partner to help us find and hire exceptional people across our investing, engineering, and platform teams. You’ll lead full-cycle hiring for specific groups—partnering closely with hiring managers to define what success looks like, craft sharp and compelling sourcing strategies, and ensure every candidate experience is thoughtful, fast, and high-signal. You’ll play a strategic role in shaping how we attract, assess, and close top talent, with involvement in onboarding to ensure new hires ramp smoothly. This is a remote role , with occasional travel for in-person work and one annual team retreat. While Pacific Time is preferred, we welcome candidates within +- 4 hours of EST Timezone.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in technical recruiting or technical sourcing at a fast paced start up environment.
  • A wide learner—curious across domains, eager to explore new systems, ideas, and tools.
  • Sharp instincts for talent—you can spot drive, curiosity, and edge in someone’s story.
  • Strategic partner who builds trust quickly with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Excellent communicator—concise, direct, and able to craft clear, compelling messages.
  • Comfortable using data, systems, and AI tools to make hiring more effective.
  • Persistent, resourceful, and adaptable—you follow threads, learn fast, and find creative solutions.
  • Thrives in a lean, distributed team environment; balances empathy with sound judgment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting in early-stage, high-performance, or frontier technology environments (e.g. crypto, AI, trading, startups).
  • Familiarity with sourcing automations, dashboards, or AI-driven workflows.
  • Interest in technical recruiting or exposure to engineering and product talent markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Full-Cycle Recruiting
  • Own the entire hiring process—from defining role requirements to sourcing, assessing, and closing candidates—for assigned teams across investing, engineering, and platform functions.
  • Partner deeply with hiring managers to shape hiring strategies, define success profiles, and ensure alignment at every stage.
  • Build and deliver crisp, high-signal outreach, job content, and candidate communication that reflects Nascent’s voice and values.
  • Manage interviews, offers, and candidate experience with clarity and speed.
  • Use Nascent’s AI-powered recruiting stack to enhance sourcing, outreach, and funnel insights.
  • Track emerging talent and maintain long-term relationships to build a future pipeline.
  • Collaborate with the People team to share market insights and continuously improve how we hire.
  • Support Onboarding & Team Integration
  • Coordinate with hiring managers, IT, and People Ops to ensure smooth new-hire transitions.
  • Conduct onboarding check-ins and collect feedback to improve future experiences.
  • Help maintain onboarding resources and workflows that reinforce a fast, confident start.
