As a Junior Talent Acquisition Partner at Ascent Aviation Services, you will play a key supporting role in helping our team deliver a smooth, professional, and engaging hiring experience. Reporting to the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will assist with day-to-day recruiting activities including candidate screening support, interview coordination, pre-employment processing, and recruiting administration. With the launch of our 777 program and two new hangars, Ascent is experiencing rapid growth.   • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of administrative, HR, customer service, or office support experience
  • Basic understanding of professional email communication
  • Strong organizational skills and willingness to learn recruiting processes

Responsibilities

  • Assist with initial resume reviews and pre-screening of candidates under guidance from Senior TA.
  • Conduct basic phone screens for select roles using provided guidelines.
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate calendars between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Send interview confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups to candidates.
  • Support candidate communication throughout the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.
  • Initiate and track background checks, drug screens, and employment verifications.
  • Enter candidate data and update status changes in the HRIS/ATS system.
  • Assist in preparing offer letters and coordinating offer-related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate pipelines, offer logs, and hiring activity.
  • Post and refresh job advertisements across job boards and social media platforms.
  • Assist in drafting basic job descriptions and job ads using templates.
  • Support sourcing efforts by identifying potential candidates through job boards and databases.
  • Maintain awareness of open requisitions and assist in updating job posting visibility.
  • Assist with scheduling career fairs and supporting recruitment events as needed.
  • Assist with tracking recruiting metrics and compiling basic reports.
  • Support special HR or recruiting projects as assigned by leadership.
