About The Position

Start your systems engineering career at the heart of national security. As a Junior Systems Engineer, you'll support the National System of Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and Federal Agencies — working alongside experienced engineers across requirements, solutions design, integration, and test & evaluation to help deliver timely, accurate GEOINT. THIS IS A PIPELINE REQUISTION - ALL POSITIONS ARE CONTINGENT ON UPCOMING PROPOSAL OPPORTUNITIES/CONTRACT AWARDS

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related STEM field (or equivalent experience: +4 years without a degree, +2 years with a non-STEM degree)
0–6 years of systems engineering experience in government or industry
Ability to obtain a Top Secret / SCI security clearance pass a polygraph
Willingness to work at a customer facility

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and languages
Familiarity with software development frameworks
Exposure to geospatial intelligence work
NGA, NSG/ASG, IC, or DoD program experience

Responsibilities

Support Mid-level engineers and government stakeholders across requirements engineering, solutions design, integration, and test & evaluation
Assist with requirements traceability and architecture analysis, helping identify ways to improve systems, workflows, and cloud capabilities
Contribute to solutions design based on requirements analysis and emerging technology
Help translate mission and customer needs into systems and capability requirements
Support requirements allocation across architecture components and programs
Assist with systems integration activities
Contribute to Analyses of Alternatives, Trade Studies, and Engineering Assessments
Support strategic technical planning, risk management, and interface design
