About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Junior Systems Engineer to support of the Report Authoring and Dissemination (RAD) team. In this collaborative role, you will assist with overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of a mission-critical system. You will work directly at the intersection of customer needs and technical execution—partnering with systems engineers, software developers, and UX teams to ensure mission-driven capabilities are accurately defined, built, tested, and delivered.

Requirements

ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED
Hands-on experience participating in Agile delivery workflows across the full software development lifecycle.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, UX designers, and software engineers to accurately capture, refine, and translate user needs into technical solutions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage tactically with development teams and maintain close relationships with customers and end-users.
Exposure to testing, validating, and ensuring high-quality software solution delivery against customer requirements.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 7 + years of professional software engineering experience OR High School Diploma / GED , PLUS 11 + years of hands-on technical software development experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with intelligence reporting, authoring systems, or dissemination frameworks.
Hands-on familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar issue-tracking and workflow platforms.
Basic understanding of user experience (UX) design principles and human-centered software engineering.
