About The Position

Responsible for supporting the corporate information system in the maintenance of computer network systems, equipment, and software. Installs, modifies, and repairs computer hardware and software. Provide technical assistance and relevant training and education of computer related functions to system users. Managing Assets and their installed security measures. Requirements

  • Advanced skill level with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Type 40 wpm.
  • Exceptional skills in business English and spelling are required.
  • Good command of the English language and knowledge of punctuation, grammar, and spelling are required.

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems/Networks, or related field.
  • Two or more certifications which could include the following CompTIA A+, Security +, CEH, Exam MS-700: Managing Microsoft Teams, or a Microsoft Windows Server Technologies certification. Additionally, other certifications may be acceptable.
  • Three (3) years' experience in a computer support role including the following areas: Windows Server and Desktop OS, Windows, and Mac OSX; Network Cabling, and all hardware; Proficient in Windows OS, and proficient in MS Office.
  • Reliable, high-speed wireless internet service (Wi-Fi)

Responsibilities

  • Assess user and system needs and recommend appropriate hardware and software for purchase and/or installation. Assist in the coordination and purchase of software and hardware for personal computers and network.
  • Install computer hardware and software according to system and/or user specifications.
  • Monitor AMFC corporate network.
  • Maintain computer hardware and software and ensure optimum performance. Clean, repair and replace equipment as needed. Perform network back-ups and system maintenance.
  • Provide user support diagnosing problem and taking appropriate corrective action. Document services performed in work order system. Coordinate service with other internal and external service providers.
  • Instruct users in use of computer hardware and software. Communicate system updates and application changes to users.
  • Prepare and submit reports as assigned or requested.
  • Communicate needs and requests to other team members as appropriate.
  • Supports the AFMC privacy and security processes / procedures by ensuring risks are being managed appropriately.
  • Implements and monitors privacy and security policies / procedures across AFMC to protect sensitive information for the organization and for our customers as required by contractual obligations, federal and state regulations.
  • Manage Asset labeling and inventory for the IT infrastructure.
  • Responsible for checking off on installed security measures on end user devices.
  • Provide Security Risk Assessments to external clients to review and improve current in place protection of patient records and HIPAA compliance requirements.
  • Create, Host, virtual webinars for internal and external stakeholders as requested.
  • Patching servers and systems under the direction of Senior System admin or above.
  • Administer Windows Servers under the direction of Senior System admin or above.
  • Administer users, computers, and phone accounts under the direction of Senior System Admin or above.
  • Maintenance of cloud-based solutions as requested.
  • Maintenance of Mac OSx and add on hardware.
  • Ensure AFMC, state and federal protocols regarding data confidentiality/security and HIPAA compliance.
  • Adhere to format, content, and style guidelines, giving consideration to usability and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality.
