Reporting to the Project Delivery Group, you will support offices globally working from our Tampa, FL office location. We’re entrepreneurs with a technical soul. Requirements

• Roles at this level are filled by recent or soon to be college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills
• Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
• Proficient in the use of 2D and 3D structural design/drawing software packages, including Revit, AutoCAD, and/or Bentley MicroStation software
• Good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects
• Ability to learn quickly and to take on new challenges
• Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Shows critical and creative thinking and problem solving and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges

Nice To Haves

• Preferred Associates of Science Degree in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD)
• Knowledge of industry or regulatory standards, regulations and codes pertinent to structural design is an asset
• Previous co-op or internship experience is an asset

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of project requirements as they relate to scope, quantities, cost, and schedule
• Produce and maintain technical and engineering drawings using 2D and 3D CAD software as required
• Perform conceptual layout work
• Develop design details
• Check drawings prior to release
• Ensure coordination with designers and engineers within the discipline and with other disciplines
• Perform clash detection of models with other discipline models
• Participate in formal engineering review processes
• Verify onsite condition and dimensions relating to existing facilities
• Incorporate safety in design
• Gain valuable on-site practical experience
• Perform assignments related to your sector
• Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects
• Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
• Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects
• Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
