About The Position
The Junior Stationary Engineer will inspect, operate, maintain, and repair Central Plant equipment. This includes cooling towers, pumps, fans, engines, generators, turbines, liquid chillers, compressors, compressed air systems, vacuum systems, heating and ventilating equipment, and emergency power generation and distribution systems, along with related auxiliary equipment. The role involves using both hand and computerized controls, performing tests, submitting reports, and documenting all work. Additionally, the Junior Stationary Engineer will supervise others working in the Central or Refrigeration Plants and perform any related duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer, or Plant Manager. Responsibilities
- Inspects, operates, maintains and repairs Central Plant equipment such as cooling towers pumps, fans, engines, generators, turbines, liquid chillers, compressors and compressed air systems, vacuum systems, heating and ventilating equipment, emergency power generation and distribution systems and related auxiliary equipment via hand and or computerized controls.
- Performs tests, submits reports, and documents all work and activities.
- Supervises others engaged in work in the Central or Refrigeration Plants.
- Performs any and all related duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer or Plant Manager
