Junior Software Engineer - Client Services

About The Position

Looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our Client Services Technical Solutions team supporting the Enterprise B2B SaaS platform. Ideal for recent computer science graduates and provides an opportunity to gain practical experience with current software development techniques and work with experienced professionals in the software development field. In this role, you will work closely with our product development team to handle support escalations, troubleshoot client issues, identify solutions for issues on our customer’s behalf, and provide fixes as necessary. This is a contract position with the potential for conversion to a full-time employee role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • Must have work authorization in USA

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internships or work experience.
  • Experience coding with Java; Front-end experience with Angular.
  • Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn new applications and software tools.
  • Experience with SQL queries and front-end web development skills (HTML, JavaScript).
  • Knowledge of RESTful web services and experience with APIs.
  • Desire to contribute to major changes and enhancements in collaboration with the engineering team.
  • Strong planning, organization, & communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support our enterprise products/solutions, troubleshooting issues and providing code fixes for client-reported issues.
  • Perform coding, maintenance of the current product, and fixing issues, with a focus on internal tools/development.
  • Manage and support client technical integration projects and configuration updates.
  • Work cross-functionally with the engineering and product team to resolve product issues and enhance the quality of the product.
  • Take a deeper dive into client-reported issues when necessary, supporting client services and software engineering.
  • Provide feedback and analysis to our internal product development team on enhancements & improvements to the product.
  • Document and maintain an internal knowledge base.
