About The Position

RWE Supply & Trading Americas, LLC is seeking a Junior Software Engineer to work in close partnership with technology teams and the commercial business. The role is part of a collaborative team that designs, builds, and supports internal applications. The position involves writing and debugging code, troubleshooting software issues, and learning and working with the company’s primarily .NET and Angular technology stack.

The role offers development through on-the-job training, pair programming, mentoring, coaching, and conference attendance. It is a hybrid position requiring three days in the office. The job is full-time and permanent, with a salary range of $70,000–$100,000 and a discretionary bonus scheme.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of at least one object-oriented programming language.
• Basic experience in front-end and back-end software development.
• Fundamental understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Familiarity with coding concepts and willingness to learn .NET and Angular.

Nice To Haves

• Previous internship experience or contributions to open-source projects.
• Experience with MongoDB.
