Junior Software Engineer

In this role, you will design, maintain, and enhance complex software systems spanning processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm implementations, and massive dataset manipulation. Requirements
- ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED
- Proven proficiency in modern object-oriented or functional programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, or Go)
- Practical experience evaluating software reuse, system trade-offs, and integrating COTS/GOTS products into technical architectures
- Experience writing performant code designed to process, manipulate, or query complex or large-scale datasets
- Strong background reviewing, testing, and debugging complex software components, with a proven ability to resolve software problem reports
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 4 + years of hands-on software engineering experience in lieu of a degree
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with modern Agile software development practices, continuous integration, and version control systems (Git)
- Experience engineering low-latency, real-time processing systems or distributed cloud computing frameworks
- Background refining novel algorithms or tuning system memory and CPU utilization for heavy analytical workloads
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
