About The Position

Inalab is seeking to immediately hire a Junior Software Engineer to support operations at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. This role involves working on the Cyberspace Infrastructure Planning System (CIPS) for the U.S. Air Force, a tool used for planning, documenting, and maintaining cyber infrastructure and supporting operations in the cyberspace domain. The team is focused on adding new features, enhancing user experience with customizable dashboards and interactive widgets, deploying new APIs, and incorporating new graphs, visuals, and geospatial features. The team values teamwork, high-quality work, and a deep understanding of the mission to deliver the best possible tool for the Air Force.

Requirements

• United States citizenship
• The ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance
• A degree in computer science, math or a related field
• Experience programming in a language such as C#, Java, Python, etc.

Responsibilities

• Learn how web applications work—from the backend to the browser.
• Fix bugs and write features under the guidance of other software engineers.
• Work with the government to clarify and iterate on requirements.
• Learn and assist with any other task as required to deliver the best product.
