About The Position

Develop, test, and deploy software solutions for the Information Technology Department under the direction of senior technical staff. This role involves .NET, SQL Server, integration, and BI development, utilizing an AI-first, agentic development workflow. The position also includes responsibilities in building and maintaining internal LLM-based tools and agent workflows to support company business processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • 0-3 years of software development experience, including internship, co-op, or substantial academic project work.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy working software using at least one general-purpose language (C#, Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience with source control (GIT).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs.
  • Ability to explain and defend the design of their own prior work.
  • Willingness to work primarily in the Microsoft/.NET stack.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret a variety of information, such as technical procedures and business correspondence furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Ability to explain technical work clearly to both technical and non-technical staff, in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to learn new platforms, languages, and tools quickly with limited formal training.
  • Job related software skills.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Routine use of AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf).
  • Practical experience building LLM applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy software applications, integrations, APIs, and SQL Server database objects under the direction of senior technical staff.
  • Use AI-assisted and agentic development tools as a routine part of daily development work.
  • Assist in maintaining and extending existing Epicor C# customizations, Jitterbit operations, and Salesforce APEX classes.
  • Write and maintain unit tests, and participate in code review and pull request cycles.
  • Follow established source control, branching, build, and deployment practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation for software, integrations, APIs, and procedures.
  • Build and maintain LLM-based tools, prompts, and agent workflows that support internal business processes.
  • Evaluate model and prompt performance against defined test cases, and document results, regressions, and failure patterns.
  • Assist senior staff in the design and productionizing of internal LLM harnesses and multi-agent workflows.
  • Identify manual business processes that are good candidates for automation, and propose practical solutions.
  • Work with company staff to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Provide lifecycle support of applications, including troubleshooting, defect resolution, and enhancement requests.
  • Develop and maintain BI reports and dashboards that provide valuable information for business analysis.
  • Build working knowledge of the company’s core platforms, including Epicor ERP, Salesforce, and Jitterbit integrations.
  • Keep current with the latest technologies, and share practical findings with the IT team.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
