About The Position

D.R. Horton is seeking a Junior Sales Representative who will train to manage the entire home sales process and communicate with customers from their first interaction through the close of escrow. The role supports prospective buyers throughout the purchase process and helps maintain the sales office, model homes, and transaction files. The representative is expected to conduct business professionally and ethically, build positive relationships with customers, realtors, and team members, and follow company policies and quality standards.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or two years of related experience.
Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license, and be able to drive during daytime or nighttime.
Ability to use DRH Sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior CRM software experience.
Previous sales experience; knowledge of the industry is preferred.
Strong communication and interaction skills.

Responsibilities

Greet and qualify visitors.
Demonstrate models, homes, and home sites.
Overcome sales objections and close sales.
Document transactions.
Track the progress of loans, options, and construction.
Respond to customer requests for information.
Document cancellations.
Maintain lot files and sales files.
Monitor model homes and the sales office for appropriate disclosures, supplies, repairs, and related needs.
Conduct business professionally and ethically to serve potential buyers and increase company goodwill and profit.
Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members.
Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
