About The Position

CACI is seeking a Junior Reverse Engineer to join their team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. This role involves tackling complex, multi-disciplinary problems across various technologies, with opportunities to learn new topics and apply existing skills to binary analysis and reverse engineering challenges. The position requires hands-on work with state-of-the-art electronics, performing basic analysis and evaluation of applications to support team efforts on new technologies and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
  • BS in a related discipline and 2+ years of directly related experience.
  • Ability to learn and grow as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Passion for solving puzzles and curiosity for how digital systems work.
  • Experience working in a Linux OS environment.
  • Basic knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic systems.
  • Experience with a programming language, such as Python, Java, or C/C++.
  • Proficiency with written and verbal communications, with an ability to articulate technical questions and findings to peers.
  • Understanding of software architecture and software development best practices.
  • Experience with binary analysis or software reverse engineering.
  • Experience with tools such as Ghidra, Binary Ninja, IDA, JADX, x64dbg, or GDB.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and security principles.
  • Familiarity with Android OS, mobile device debugging techniques, reverse engineering APK files.
  • Experience with benchtop equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal/power analyzers, and multimeters.
  • Experience performing micro-soldering.
  • Experience with unmanned systems such as UAS, UGV, and USV.
  • Familiarity with the programmatic use of APIs.
  • Experience working with containers at a technical level.
  • Experience leveraging interfaces and protocols such as I2C, JTAG, UART, SPI, USB, and Ethernet.
