About The Position

The Junior Retoucher helps transform raw visuals into standout assets for the North American Studio Team — and at times, our global partners — by enhancing print & digital assets with precision and creativity. From perfecting food and packaging to polishing color, contrast, and composition, you’ll craft images that feel crisp, cohesive, and ready for the spotlight. With a sharp eye for detail and consistency, you’re someone who notices what others might miss. You’re highly organized, visually intuitive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced studio environment. A natural sense of design — understanding how typography, layout, composition, and color work together — helps you craft polished, compelling visuals that support our creative vision.

Requirements

  • 1 – 3 year’s experience in Production Artist or Retouching roles, or similar position.
  • Proficient with Microsoft apps (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Adobe Creative Suite softwares (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Professional portfolio required.
  • Experience with Creative workflows.
  • Understanding of digital photography workflows.
  • Understanding of print production workflows and color management.
  • A positive attitude and highly motivated.
  • Excellent attention to detail and meticulous file setup.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Problem solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of Digital Asset Management (preferred) and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Retouch a wide range of food photography — from master images to complex composites — with accuracy, creativity, and consistency.
  • Ensure all products and assets are represented authentically and in line with creative expectations and brand guidelines.
  • Refine images through thoughtful adjustments to color balance, contrast, exposure, brightness, and saturation to deliver high‑quality, cohesive visuals.
  • Follow established global workflows, including folder structures, file‑naming conventions, and Photoshop file‑building best practices.
  • Maintain color accuracy across various media types and color spaces.
  • Collaborate with teammates and proactively contribute to improving image quality and overall workflow efficiency.
  • Review proofs and artwork adaptations, evaluating color and detail for accuracy and brand alignment.
  • Support brand stewardship by helping maintain and update brand styles and guidelines for all clients.
  • Track and record project time daily to support accurate planning and workflow management.
