About The Position

IERUS Technologies, Inc., is seeking a Junior Radar Analyst to join a talented and passionate team. IERUS specializes in technology research, testing, and implementation with core competencies in electromagnetics phenomenology, computational analytics (algorithm acceleration and machine learning), and weapon system engineering. IERUS develops value for our defense and commercial customers through accelerations of the technology life cycle: identifying, creating, transitioning, and producing technologies with integrity of purpose and product. IERUS offers competitive compensation packages, retirement options, and benefits packages. IERUS participates in projects that address weapon systems engineering and the application of advanced machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques as well as RF/Optical hardware prototyping and low rate production. The end goal being early discovery, accelerated development, and high customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering or similar field
  • 0 - 2 years of experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in MATLAB
  • Active Current Secret Clearance (or higher)
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize technical data into clear briefings

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of missile defense test methodologies (Monte Carlo simulation, HWIL testing, pre/post-mission analysis) is a plus but can be trained
  • Familiarization with the operation and/or analysis of at least one of the following radars AN/TPY-2, SBX, UEWR, Cobra Dane

Responsibilities

  • Support Sensors participation in predictive analysis for each scenario against test objectives, including integration of Monte Carlo scenarios and predictive scenario runs using digital and HWIL models
  • Design and refine analysis tools and conduct performance analysis on AN/TPY-2, SBX, UEWR, and/or COBRA DANE
  • Working knowledge of critical radar functions — including acquisition, tracking, discrimination, and scheduling — to support Sensor Element performance analysis across formal MDA Ground Test (GT), Ground Test Distributed (GTD), and Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI) testing
