This position is based in Limassol, Cyprus, and follows a hybrid working model, allowing employees to collaborate in person while maintaining flexibility. We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team and help ensure the quality and stability of our mobile games. In this role, you will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Designers to test new features, verify game content, and ensure our games provide a smooth and enjoyable player experience. You will play through game levels, validate gameplay mechanics, identify issues, and confirm that levels are fair, functional, and solvable before they reach our players. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys playing games, has a strong eye for detail, and is interested in building a career in Quality Assurance within the gaming industry.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in software testing or a similar role
  • Passion for mobile games
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Ability to identify, reproduce, and clearly report issues
  • Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with different teams
  • Organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Experience testing mobile apps or games
  • Understanding of basic QA principles and testing methodologies
  • Experience writing test cases or bug reports
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Test game releases, updates, and new features across multiple mobile devices
  • Play and verify game levels to ensure they are functional, balanced, and solvable
  • Validate gameplay mechanics, game progression, and player experience
  • Create and execute test cases based on product requirements
  • Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps
  • Perform functional, usability, compatibility, and regression testing
  • Verify bug fixes before releases
