About The Position

Weaver Technologies is a unique team of IT specialists, specializing in analyzing infrastructure and crafting one-of-a-kind solutions that solve problems and improve performance, has an immediate employment opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager. This position is a telecommute position and can be located anywhere within Texas. The Junior Project Manager (JPM) supports the successful delivery of IT projects by assisting with planning, coordination, execution, and reporting across the project lifecycle. This role is designed for an early-career project professional who is eager to build strong delivery fundamentals within a structured Project Management Office (PMO). The JPM will partner closely with Senior Project Managers, Operations, Services, Solutions, and Sales teams to help ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and on budget, all while supporting the company’s commitment to delivering the Right Solution, at the Right Time, for the Right Reason.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or project management support roles.
  • Familiarity with project management fundamentals, tools, and terminology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP, CAPM, or similar certification preferred, or willingness to pursue certification.

Responsibilities

  • Support project planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout activities under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager or PMO leadership.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, task plans, and milestone tracking.
  • Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, document meeting notes, and track action items.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, status reports, and dashboards using standard PMO tools and templates.
  • Help identify project risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating concerns appropriately to project leadership.
  • Support budget tracking, purchase order coordination, and basic project financial reporting.
  • Communicate project updates to internal stakeholders in a clear, timely, and professional manner.
  • Adhere to established PMO processes, documentation standards, and reporting requirements.
