At RA, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We are actively seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our team! This role manages and delivers multiple small‑scale capital projects from planning through close‑out. You will coordinate contractors and internal teams (e.g., Aquatics, Tennis, Construction, and Grounds Maintenance), oversee schedules and budgets, support procurement and contracting, and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, permitting, and safety standards. You’ll also assist the Capital Projects Senior Manager with the Association’s multi‑year capital plan, prepare Board and public communications, and represent RA with design professionals and regulatory agencies. This is a full‑time position (40 hours/week). Work is performed in both office and field settings, with occasional evening or weekend hours to support project schedules, public meetings, and seasonal workloads.

Requirements

  • Age 18+
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of construction management experience, including supervisory experience. Experience as Construction Superintendent or Project Manager highly preferred.
  • Experience coordinating design, permitting, and construction activities for buildings, recreational facilities, lake maintenance, and general site improvements.
  • Skilled in budget management, procurement, and vendor oversight, including reviewing bids, administering contracts, and monitoring expenditures.
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize multiple projects and meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and commitment to supporting RA’s mission and values.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Ability to work in both office and outdoor environments.

  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
