About The Position

HHC is looking for a Junior Project Manager. They will be supporting the network and asset needs for the Merger to rollout EPIC. They will be responsible for ensuring desktop, device engineering and ensuring configuration standards are met. As well as running projects. They will work with multiple teams from desktop to the network engineering teams and outside vendors to design best in class solution for desktop and device application solutions. This person will be responsible for assisting with the System wide oversite of the User Device Lifecycle (budgeting, procurement, asset management, relinquishment). They will be ensuring the compliance with established standards, processes and procedures and the alignment with New York City Health + Hospitals mission critical goal of providing service excellence in patient care. This person will gather information on the existing workflows in use at the facilities and assist with creating and maintaining processes and procedures required to support the device lifecycle management. This person will assist with coordinating scheduled procurements across all the facilities and work closely with EITS Finance ensuing that they are aware of the upcoming coordinated procurements and the estimated funds needed to fulfill equipment needs. They will facilitate quote requests by the facilities, for scheduled procurement request and as the needs arise. They will review submitted procurement request to ensure that the items being requested for purchase are the correct solution for the requested need and assist with the coordination with the facility procurement requestors, Desktop engineering leadership and Site directors, ensuring that procurement requests are submitted on the established schedule and that status updates are provided to all parties. They will also maintain vendor relationships and a standard work process for vendors to provide updates to all stakeholders. They will assist with the asset management process in use at all the facilities to support tracking of user devices (financial and non-financial assets). They will also be responsible for managing the device lifecycle at the facilities and support the entire procurement process. Will heavily support the new merger with and all support needed in their EPIC rollout and then ongoing support after.

  • Required to travel to the various facilities within the five boroughs to review storage locations, conduct internal asset audits and meet with the teams responsible for managing the device lifecycle at the facilities

  • Preparing and willing to do any other reasonable and lawful instruction/task on time and correctly
