About The Position

The Junior Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of cross-functional product development and commercialization projects across Greentank's Cannabis portfolio. Working in partnership with the Senior Project Manager and teams across Product Management, Engineering, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, and Commercial, this role helps ensure projects are delivered on time by coordinating activities, tracking milestones, maintaining project documentation, and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders. The Junior Project Manager plays an important role in driving project organization, identifying and escalating risks, and supporting the successful execution of strategic initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to develop project management expertise while contributing to innovative product launches in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in STEM or any other related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, management or product development or related field
  • Proficiency in project management tools
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is considered an asset
  • Experience in consumer electronics, cannabis, medical device, or other regulated industries considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support product development and commercialization projects from concept through launch and post-launch activities.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, milestones, and action trackers.
  • Coordinate project activities across multiple concurrent programs and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Track project progress and proactively communicate potential delays, risks, or issues.
  • Escalate concerns appropriately and support timely resolution.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure deliverables align with stage-gate requirements.
  • Support a culture of accountability, organization, and execution excellence.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing and Commercial teams to support project execution.
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure actions and follow-ups are clearly documented and completed.
  • Help coordinate priorities, timelines, and resource requirements across stakeholders.
  • Support problem-solving efforts by identifying barriers and escalating issues when necessary.
  • Build strong working relationships that enable effective communication and collaboration.
  • Support customer-facing development programs and commercialization activities.
  • Assist with coordination between customers, manufacturing partners, suppliers, testing laboratories, and external service providers.
  • Help ensure customer requirements are communicated and incorporated into project plans.
  • Provide timely updates on project status, schedules, and key activities.
  • Support customer meetings, technical reviews, and launch activities as required.
  • Support Sr. Project Manager to translate product requirements into actionable project plans.
  • Coordinate development activities including engineering, testing, validation, regulatory submissions, and manufacturing readiness.
  • Support BOM management, product documentation, cost tracking, and change management activities.
  • Assist with commercialization readiness activities including inventory planning, supply chain coordination, and production ramp-up.
  • Support launch readiness reviews and post-launch follow-up activities.
  • Help identify technical, regulatory, supply chain, manufacturing, and schedule risks.
  • Support development and execution of mitigation plans.
  • Maintain project trackers, reports, and governance documentation.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management tools, processes, and ways of working.
  • Support implementation of portfolio and project management best practices.
  • Maintain project dashboards and status reports.
  • Provide clear visibility of project schedules, milestones, actions, and risks.
  • Prepare meeting materials and project updates for leadership reviews.
  • Support portfolio review and planning activities as required.
  • Ensure project documentation is accurate, organized, and up to date.
