About The Position

The Junior Project Analyst will support a large hyperscale data center construction project by analyzing data, solving problems, working with numbers, and contributing to the financial and operational success of the project. This entry-level position is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical individual who enjoys working with numbers, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and is eager to learn. Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and work through issues.
  • Proficiency in Excel or a strong desire to develop advanced Excel and data-analysis skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and build strong working relationships throughout the company.
  • Ability to organize, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate professionally with external partners.
  • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment. Critical billing and reporting deadlines may occasionally require additional hours to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proficiency in Excel or a strong desire to develop advanced Excel and data-analysis skills.

Responsibilities

  • Track and analyze project costs, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other project expenses.
  • Prepare and manage multi-million-dollar monthly client billings, including gathering, organizing, and validating required supporting documents to ensure costs are accurately billed.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready billing and cost documents and respond to requests for supporting information.
  • Prepare weekly summary reports for the team on project costs, labor, and weekly activity.
  • Validate labor hours and costs, investigate discrepancies or unusual activity, and coordinate corrections as needed.
  • Review invoices for accuracy, duplicate charges, and other potential issues.
  • Monitor project costs and billing activity, research variances, and collaborate with the appropriate teams to resolve issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, templates, and workflows.
  • Take ownership of responsibilities and critical deadlines while adapting to the changing needs of a fast-paced project environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
