About The Position

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a Junior Program Manager/Executive Admin Support to provide support to Command, Control, Communications and Battle Management (C3BM). Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) has been tasked with delivering an integrated Department of the Air Force (DAF) Battle Network providing resilient decision advantage and enabling the USAF, USSF, Joint, and Coalition Force to win against the pacing challenge. C3BM supports execution in many different focus areas. C3BM’s main efforts are Architecture and Systems Engineering (ASE), Operational Response Team (ORT), and multiple mission integration teams such as Air, Maritime and multiple acquisitions consisting of both the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) and Space. The DAF BATTLE NETWORK is the integrated system-of-systems fusing sensors, effectors, and sustainment grids to build situational awareness, make operational decisions, and direct the force to create needed lethal and nonlethal effects in support of the Joint Force Commander’s scheme of maneuver. The DAF PEO C3BM has the responsibility of technically and programmatically integrating the DAF’s larger system-of-systems architecture needed to deliver an integrated Command and Control (C2) core function for the DAF, Joint, and Coalition forces, by teaming with all other DAF PEOs, as needed.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed
  • 3+ years of experience with specific experience in a DoD Setting
  • Defense Travel System (DTS)
  • Microsoft Outlook calendar management and scheduling
  • SharePoint administration and document management
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Meeting coordination, action item tracking, and executive-level administrative support
  • Experience supporting DoD program office operations
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing requirements in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with senior military officers, government civilians, and contractor personnel
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information

Responsibilities

  • Provide acquisition program management support to Program Managers, Integrated Product Teams, and senior leadership.
  • Assist with program execution activities to support cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Support the development, review, and maintenance of acquisition documentation, reports, briefings, and milestone review packages.
  • Assist with acquisition strategy development, contract execution activities, Request for Proposal (RFP) support, and source selection efforts.
  • Support program risk management activities, including risk identification, analysis, mitigation planning, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with program scheduling personnel and assist with tracking program deliverables and contractor performance.
  • Support financial management activities, including funding documentation and acquisition reporting requirements.
  • Assist with Mission Planning Environment (MPE) planning, integration, testing, and fielding activities.
  • Provide support for Life Cycle Logistics and operational supportability initiatives.
  • Maintain familiarity with applicable DoD and Air Force acquisition policies, directives, and guidance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
