About The Position

McBride Consulting has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Program Manager/Executive Admin Support providing support to Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM). Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) has been tasked with delivering an integrated Department of the Air Force (DAF) Battle Network providing resilient decision advantage and enabling the USAF, USSF, Joint, and Coalition Force to win against the pacing challenge. C3BM supports execution in many different focus areas. C3BM’s main efforts are Architecture and Systems Engineering (ASE), Operational Response Team (ORT), and multiple mission integration teams such as Air, Maritime and multiple acquisitions consisting of both the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) and Space. The DAF BATTLE NETWORK is the integrated system-of-systems fusing sensors, effectors, and sustainment grids to build situational awareness, make operational decisions, and direct the force to create needed lethal and nonlethal effects in support of the Joint Force Commander’s scheme of maneuver. The DAF PEO C3BM has the responsibility of technically and programmatically integrating the DAF’s larger system-of-systems architecture needed to deliver an integrated Command and Control (C2) core function for the DAF, Joint, and Coalition forces, by teaming with all other DAF PEOs, as needed.

Requirements

  • Maintaining scheduling documents for video and online conferencing
  • Maintaining logs on equipment
  • Providing instructions on equipment setup
  • Preparing correspondence, reports, papers, and briefings

  • Providing responses to routine queries
  • Assisting with coordination, consolidation, analysis, distribution, and monitoring of action items, suspense’s, and responses

  • Assisting with preparation and updates to program office file management documents
  • Preparing agendas, reports, and briefings for staff meetings
  • Assisting Government with management of organization’s workflow
  • Assisting with travel planning, arrangements, and execution using the Defense Travel System
  • Forwarding messages to appropriate Acquisition program team members
  • Providing Government initiated/approved responses to routine queries
  • Supporting cost and schedule reduction activities
  • Providing program level acquisition support to the Program Manager and Integrated Product Team
  • Guiding successful program execution
  • Providing support and solutions to program leadership for contract execution
  • Analyzing overall program health
  • Advising program leadership on options to maintain cost, schedule, and performance objectives
  • Supporting and developing briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks
  • Providing Program Management inputs to RFPs (systems specs, SRDs, SOWs, CDRLs)
  • Reviewing acquisition documents and providing comments
  • Ensuring consistency and accuracy in acquisition documents (ADMs, LCSP, Acquisition Strategies, APBs, Risk Management Plans, PMRs, milestone decision briefings)

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the leadership is kept informed of all issues of interest that relate to the mission of the directorate
  • Monitors progress toward accomplishment of various tasking and initiatives.
  • Provides support by supplying the information and background for the preparation of program events
  • Drafts documents for the approval and signature of leadership
  • Disseminates program policy and specific initiative guidance for members of the organization
  • Coordinates, documents, monitors, and supports a variety of meetings and conferences to include, but not limited to, scheduling and set up of physical and virtual meetings and in support office staff and external participates
  • Prepare background information and invite required meeting participants ensuring documentation of the meetings are filed IAW organizational policy
  • Documentation may include but is not limited to attendance logs, minutes and/or action items with corresponding action officers
  • Maintains scheduling documents and requirements for video and online conferencing set up and execution, which may include but is not limited to the maintenance logs on the equipment, the corresponding instructions on equipment set up, and meeting execution
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, papers and briefings IAW applicable policies and templates
  • Maintain appointment calendars and conference room schedules
  • Answer telephones, forward messages, and provide responses to routine queries
  • Assist with coordination, consolidation, analysis, distribution and monitoring of action items, suspense’s and responses
  • Provide inputs and recommendations regarding administrative and office management processes and procedures
  • Assist with preparation of and updates to program office file management documents
  • Prepare agendas, reports and briefings for staff meetings
  • Assist Government with management of organization’s workflow
  • Assist with travel planning, travel arrangements and execution IAW with the Defense Travel Administrator’s Manual utilizing the Defense Travel System
  • Answer telephones, forward messages to appropriate Acquisition program team members, as required, and provide Government initiated/approved responses to routine queries
  • Support cost and schedule reduction activities for acquisition and development efforts.
  • Provide program level acquisition support to the Program Manager and Integrated Product Team
  • Leads by helping guide successful program execution to maintain the acquisition battle rhythm and deliver warfighter capability
  • Provide support and solutions to program leadership to facilitate successful contract execution for the program and analyzes overall program health and advises program leadership on options to maintain cost, schedule and performance objectives
  • Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management
  • Provide Program Management inputs to Request for Proposal (RFPs) including systems specs, Electronic Warfare Systems (SRDs), Statement of Work (SOWs), and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs), and other RFP products
  • Review acquisition documents and provides comments with programmatic perspective to ensure consistency and accuracy. Documents may include, but are not limited to, ADMs, LCSP, Acquisition Strategies, APBs, Risk Management Plans, PMRs and milestone decision briefings
