About The Position

We are looking for a Junior Production Planner to join our team. This role is responsible for creating and managing production schedules to meet demand while optimizing resource utilization. The ideal candidate will analyze production capacity and forecast demand to ensure timely delivery of products, coordinate with manufacturing teams, and monitor inventory levels, adjusting plans as necessary to minimize disruptions. This position will also assist in developing and maintaining production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels, support the production planning team in monitoring production performance and reporting on key metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment on production requirements. The role also involves helping to manage inventory levels and assist in the procurement of raw materials and components as needed, participating in continuous improvement initiatives by providing insights and suggestions for optimizing production processes, and maintaining accurate records and documentation related to production planning activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong analytical skills with a basic understanding of production processes and inventory management preferred.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with production planning software is a plus.
Relevant internship or co-op experience in production planning or supply chain management is preferred.

Responsibilities
