Junior Product Manager

DaisyNew York, NY
$80,000 - $120,000

About The Position

Daisy is building the future of living. As a full-stack, AI-native property management company for HOAs, co-ops, and condos, we're modernizing one of real estate's largest and most fragmented industries. By combining technology with exceptional service, we deliver greater transparency for boards, more efficient operations, and a better resident experience. In just a few years, we've become the 8th largest property management company in NYC, expanded across the tri-state area, and now manage over 5,000 units and $200M+ in building budgets. Backed by strong growth and recent financing, we're entering our next chapter of growth as we expand Daisy's AI-powered operating model nationwide. Our Junior Product Manager sits at the seam between product and operations. You'll work side by side with our Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) and ops teams to find where work is slow, manual, or repetitive — and then fix it with better process, better tooling, and AI. This is a hands-on, high-exposure role. You won't be handed a roadmap and asked to groom a backlog. You'll be in the field with the teams doing the work: mapping how things actually happen today, quantifying the cost of the gaps, prototyping solutions with AI tools, and shipping changes with the FDEs. It's the fastest way we know to learn product, operations, and AI at the same time. We're looking for someone early in their career but already unusually resourceful — the kind of person who uses AI daily, builds their own tools to get work done, and would rather ship a rough automation this week than write a perfect spec next month.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a relevant role
  • Strong process mindset: you naturally look for the repeatable pattern in messy work
  • Comfort with data — you can pull it, question it, and build a clear narrative from it (SQL or a BI tool is a plus)
  • Demonstrable hands-on AI usage in your own work: prompt engineering, prototypes, scripts, or AI-built tools
  • Clear written communication — specs, docs, and updates that people actually read
  • High ownership and low ego. You chase the loose ends and close them
  • Curiosity about unfamiliar domains, and the patience to learn how buildings and operations really work

Nice To Haves

  • Technical background, or enough scripting ability to be dangerous
  • Experience with AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot)
  • Familiarity with ops and automation stacks: Zendesk, Looker, PowerBI, Airtable, n8n, Retool or similar
  • Exposure to B2B SaaS, fintech, or service/operations-heavy businesses
  • Experience working directly alongside engineers on customer-facing problems

Responsibilities

  • Embed with ops teams to map real workflows end-to-end, and document where time and quality leak out
  • Turn those findings into a prioritized list of efficiency opportunities, sized with actual data
  • Partner with FDEs to design, prototype, and ship automations and AI-driven workflows that remove manual work
  • Write clear, concise specs and requirements that engineers and ops leads can act on without a follow-up meeting
  • Build and maintain dashboards and metrics so the impact of every change is visible and measurable
  • Own SOPs and process documentation for the workflows you touch — keep them accurate as things evolve
  • Run rollouts: training, readiness checks, adoption tracking, and post-launch monitoring
  • Close the loop on feedback from property managers, board members, and residents, and feed it back into the roadmap
  • Prototype with LLMs and AI tools yourself to test ideas before asking for engineering time

Benefits

  • competitive benefits package
  • equity
