About The Position

Silvus Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Junior Process Engineer for its Business Intelligence team. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role supports the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of business processes by maintaining automation scripts, documenting workflows, and ensuring data accuracy across systems. The position works with Process Engineers and cross-functional teams to develop data-driven insights, improve operational efficiency, and support business automation initiatives. This is a 100% onsite position at Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in West Los Angeles, California, Monday through Friday. The work takes place in an office environment and may include walking or moving in labs and lifting equipment weighing up to 15 pounds. Travel is not required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Solid Excel skills and working familiarity with Google Workspace, including Sheets, Docs, and Drive.
Understanding of data hygiene principles and data management.
Basic understanding of proper coding and documentation processes.
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
Employment is contingent upon successfully clearing a background check and drug test.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with one or more programming or scripting languages.
Specific experience with Python and JavaScript, and knowledge of SQL.
Understanding of using APIs to gather data from disparate sources.
Familiarity with general business structure and functions.

Responsibilities

Maintain scripting codebases using Python, JavaScript, and Zoho Deluge under the direction of Process Engineers.
Assist Process Engineers with planning, implementing, documenting, and maintaining processes and workflows across teams.
Create and present data-driven visualizations to support leadership decision-making across teams such as Sales, Operations, Information Technology, Finance, and Engineering.
Support data hygiene in current systems to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with the Business Intelligence and Systems team on automation initiatives and efficiency improvements.
Perform other related duties representative of the role.
