About The Position

This role involves performing routine engineering tasks using standard techniques and procedures. The engineer will be responsible for sizing and specifying equipment and instrumentation for oil and gas facilities, assisting in the creation of design documents such as layout and design, Design Basis, PFDs, P&IDs, stream summaries, and line lists. A key aspect of the role is improving existing designs to ensure safety, operability, and environmental compliance. The position also includes developing engineering standards and providing process engineering consulting services to clients in the upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas sectors. Collaboration with clients, contractors, project managers, and other engineering disciplines is essential for effective project execution. Additionally, the role involves assisting with process simulation models for facilities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering
0-3 years of experience in Oil & Gas Process Engineering

Responsibilities

Perform routine tasks which require application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.
Size and specify equipment and instrumentation for existing and proposed oil and gas facilities.
Assist with creating layout and design, Design Basis, PFDs, P&IDs, stream summary and line list for multi-well facilities.
Improve existing design to ensure safety, operability, and environmental compliance.
Develop block flow diagrams, process flow diagrams, and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
Develop engineering standards and perform process engineering consulting for upstream, midstream, downstream oil and gas clients.
Work with clients, contractors, project managers, and engineering disciplines to ensure the project execution plan is effective, comprehensive, reasonable, and obtainable.
Assist with process simulation models for existing and proposed oil and gas facilities.
