About The Position

Draft and prosecute patent applications in accordance with U.S. and foreign patent laws and regulations. Assist with patentability searches and provide opinions on patentability and freedom-to-operate matters. Collaborate with inventors, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and capture new inventions. Provide intellectual property support for commercial contracts.

Requirements

• Requires bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, such as engineering or computer science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 5 years related experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. and foreign patent laws and regulations.
• Proven track record of drafting and prosecuting patent applications across various technology fields.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer experience as a Patent Agent, including drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
• Docketing and maintenance experience a plus.
