About The Position

Vishay Spectrol is currently seeking applicants for an Junior Operator QC Incoming Inspection. The VISHAY Junior Operator adds value by performing inspection of raw materials, components, in-process and final inspections and/or audits of the quality audit program. This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” according to U.S. federal law.

Requirements

High school diploma with some College preferred
1 to 3 years of routine inspection experience utilizing miscellaneous gauges and optical measurement equipment (Caliper, micrometer, height gage, Go/ No-go gages etc.)
Must qualify as a "U.S. Person" according to U.S. federal law.

Responsibilities

Performs Receiving Inspection of material, components and assemblies per corresponding Drawings and Engineering Specifications with corresponding data and documents
When performing daily task, able to utilize and maintain historical inspection records and files
Apply approval or rejection labels to bulk raw materials once analytical data is evaluated
Assess draft and final label copy, using knowledge of labeling regulations
Performs First Article Inspection of components and assemblies to determine compliance to Drawings and Engineering Specifications with corresponding data and documents
Minimize down time by reducing production rework and recalls
Assist production personnel in the understanding of inspection and testing methods
Auditing materials and processes
And other tasks as assigned by Quality Manager
