Junior Naval Architect Engineer, Co-op
About The Position
This co-op opportunity is for a Junior Naval Architect Engineer to join Fleetway Inc.’s engineering team. The role will involve supporting Canada’s National Shipbuilding Strategy and the Halifax Class Design Agent contracts. Through these contracts, Fleetway’s engineers and technologists provide a full range of technical data management and engineering support services to the Royal Canadian Navy. The position will contribute to producing complex designs for new structures and systems to ensure the Royal Canadian Navy is prepared for various operational needs. Fleetway is seeking a qualified student for their Dartmouth NS office.
Requirements
- Must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
- Must meet requirements for Canadian Government Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide a full range of technical data management and engineering support services to the Royal Canadian Navy.
- Produce complex designs to support new structures and systems.
