About The Position
Mathnasium is a leading education brand with over 1,300 learning centers globally, dedicated to teaching math to students from kindergarten through high school. Our mission is to help children understand, master, and love math through our world-class curriculum, developed using the Mathnasium Method™. This method, refined over decades of instruction, has positively impacted children since 2002. This is a part-time position with flexible yet consistent hours, and all work is conducted at the Mathnasium Center, eliminating the need for homework correction or lesson plan development. Applicants must commit to a minimum of 12 months.
Requirements
- Strong math proficiency through Pre-Calculus.
- Passion for math and working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and be trained.
- High motivation, commitment, patience, and enthusiasm.
- Must be available to commit for at least 12 months.
- Must pass a math literacy test.
- Must provide work authorization.
- Must pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Classroom and/or one-on-one mathematics teaching experience is a plus.
- Desire to work through the entire school year is required.
Responsibilities
- Teach math to students in kindergarten through high school using the Mathnasium Method™.
- Work with a variety of students at different grade levels.
- Conduct all work at the Mathnasium Center, with no outside homework correction or lesson plan development required.
