About The Position

Fidelity National Financial, a Fortune 500 leader in title and escrow services, is seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Junior IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance for our branch operations throughout Ventura County. This role is critical in ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient technology services that support daily business operations and customer experience.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of IT desktop support or equivalent hands-on technical support experience.
  • Experience with Dell and HP desktops/laptops and related peripherals.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and macOS environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and collaboration platforms.
  • Experience supporting printers (LaserJet), scanners (high-speed & desktop), and copiers.
  • Understanding of LAN/WAN networking fundamentals.
  • Exposure to network security and firewall concepts.
  • Experience with remote-access technologies (Citrix, VPN, BeyondTrust).
  • Strong customer service and help desk communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment (PCs, monitors, printers, etc.) up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed IT support team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, assess IT needs, and respond with urgency when required.
  • Strong listening, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly document, explain technical issues, and ask clarifying questions.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, and office peripherals.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows 11, macOS).
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and related productivity tools.
  • Support telephony systems (desktop SIP phones and mobile devices).
  • Coordinate office technology for branch openings, relocations, closures, and equipment refreshes.
  • Maintain accurate IT asset inventories and ensure a clean, organized IT environment.
  • Work closely with managers, staff, vendors, and corporate IT to resolve issues and implement solutions.
  • Diagnose recurring problems, identify patterns, and recommend long-term solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate IT security, data protection, and operational policies.
  • Support secure remote access tools (Citrix, VPN, BeyondTrust), disaster recovery, data backup procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service through effective communication, documentation, and follow-through.
