About The Position

We are seeking a Junior IT Support Specialist to provide technical support and ensure a seamless, secure, and productive experience for our end-users. This role requires a good understanding of endpoint management, network troubleshooting, and involves IT project collaboration. You will play a key part in maintaining high standards for IT services, managing cloud and security systems, and supporting our teams across platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent experiences will also be considered.
  • Experience in IT support or service delivery roles, with expertise across multi-platform environments, ideally including both PC and Mac systems.
  • Proficiency in networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VPNs, and routing.
  • Hands-on experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence), ideally including Jira Service Management.
  • Strong understanding of M365 administration, Entra ID, and Intune.
  • Knowledge of IT security systems and protocols, particularly Microsoft Defender and monitoring tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Endpoint Application Support (incl. M365) and Autopilot.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong collaborator who contributes actively to a supportive, solution-oriented team environment.
  • Customer service & problem solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • German language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Endpoint Management: Manage endpoint devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools such as Microsoft Intune and Jamf Pro, ensuring that endpoints, AV equipment and cloud-based systems support optimal productivity for end-users.
  • Directory and Cloud Services Administration: Support and troubleshoot within Microsoft Intune, Entra ID and SharePoint environments.
  • Network and VPN Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to network interruptions, VPN connections, and other connectivity concerns.
  • Ticketing and Documentation: Track and manage support tickets using Jira Service Management and create clear, accessible technical documentation and specifications in Confluence.
  • Other duties as assigned.
