About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior IT Support Specialist to join our growing IT team. The candidate will provide reliable day-to-day technical support to our staff while developing the skills and knowledge needed to grow into more advanced IT and infrastructure roles.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Entra ID.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to support non-technical users professionally.
  • High school diploma required; additional IT training, coursework, or a related degree preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, VPN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
  • Experience with device imaging, deployment, or hardware setup.
  • Basic knowledge of information security principles and willingness to assist with routine security-related tasks.
  • CompTIA A+ or similar entry-level IT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID, including onboarding, offboarding, and password resets.
  • Support Microsoft 365 apps such as Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Prepare and deploy workstations, maintain asset records, and assist with basic security tasks like MFA and compliance checks.
  • Escalate complex issues with clear documentation and help improve internal support resources and processes.
