About The Position

This entry-to-junior-level role is responsible for monitoring global events, triaging threat information, conducting open-source research, and supporting internal or external investigations through disciplined collection, assessment, and reporting. The analyst will help transform raw information into timely, actionable intelligence products for cross-functional stakeholders while operating effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 corporate security environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, political science, intelligence studies, data analytics, international affairs, security studies, or a related field; or Equivalent combination of education and relevant analytical, investigative, military, law enforcement, GSOC, or corporate-security experience, subject to client approval.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in an analytical, investigative, intelligence, military, law enforcement, GSOC, or related role. Relevant internships may be considered.
  • Strong research, analysis, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize fragmented information into clear and usable judgments.
  • Familiarity with open-source intelligence methods, social media monitoring, and threat-assessment techniques appropriate to a junior analyst role.
  • Ability to review incoming threat information and distinguish relevant, credible, and actionable issues from background noise.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to produce concise, highly readable reporting in a Bottom-Line-Up-Front (BLUF) format.
  • Strong verbal communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to support stakeholders in both routine and high-pressure situations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and collaborative workplace tools such as Teams, Zoom, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Strong professional ethics, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive or confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, which may include shifts, nights, weekends, or schedule adjustments depending on GSOC coverage requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with threat intelligence, travel-risk, mass-notification, access-control, video-management, or enterprise risk platforms such as Dataminr, Healix, AlertMedia, Lenel OnGuard, or Milestone XProtect.
  • Exposure to online brand-protection, anti-counterfeit, cyber-enabled fraud, or reputation-risk monitoring efforts.
  • Dual-language competency, international awareness, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, sound judgment, and a strong willingness to learn in a fast-paced analytical environment.

  • Monitor global events—including natural disasters, civil unrest, crime, active threats, geopolitical developments, and other emerging risks—to identify potential impact to personnel, facilities, travel, operations, or brand reputation.
  • Support the intelligence cycle through the collection, collation, evaluation, analysis, and dissemination of information relevant to the client operating environment.
  • Utilize open-source intelligence tools, social media monitoring, localized news sources, and other approved data sources to identify, assess, and escalate relevant threats.
  • Review inbound alerts, threat data, suspicious activity, and other reporting streams; assess validity, relevance, and severity; and escalate significant findings in accordance with established protocols.
  • Assist with investigations by gathering information, reviewing physical security data such as access control and CCTV records, compiling digital footprints, and organizing supporting documentation for senior investigators and stakeholders.
  • Support brand protection and online risk monitoring efforts, including the identification of counterfeit activity, phishing campaigns, fraudulent domains, impersonation, and other threats affecting intellectual property, corporate reputation, or client trust.
  • Maintain accurate case records, incident documentation, and supporting materials within the appropriate security or investigations systems, ensuring chain-of-custody and documentation standards are upheld.
  • Produce clear, decision-ready intelligence products, including alerts, daily briefs, situational reports, case summaries, threat actor snapshots, and travel risk briefs for operational and leadership audiences.
  • Conduct open-source and internal research to support investigative summaries, analytical judgments, and stakeholder briefings.
  • Provide timely situational awareness and analytical support during incidents or emerging events that could affect company personnel, facilities, intellectual property, operations, or reputation.
  • Work cross-functionally with GSOC personnel, corporate security, investigators, travel-risk stakeholders, and other internal partners to support awareness, escalation, and informed decision-making.
