About The Position

Seeking a Junior High Head coach for the Girls’ Soccer program for the 2026-2027 school year at Liberty Common High School in Fort Collins, Colorado. Liberty Common High School (LCHS) is Northern Colorado's clearest path to college, delivering a college-preparatory, classically-oriented, liberal-arts curriculum in a small-school environment. The school currently enrolls approximately 1600 students in grades K-12 and competes as a member of the Northern Plains Middle Level Association. The Girls’ Soccer Head coach reports directly to the athletic director and has the primary responsibility for planning, training, and coordination for Junior High scholar-athletes, in cooperation with the coaching staff. Applicants should be dedicated to providing the best scholar-athlete experience. The successful candidate will be committed to the mission and goals of Liberty Common High School.

Requirements

  • High school diploma; associates degree or greater is preferred.
  • Experience working with K-12 students preferred.
  • Technically knowledgeable of Soccer and experience working with scholar-athletes.
  • Experience scheduling, planning, and coordinating activities for a wide range of constituents.
  • A proven, verifiable record of placing appropriate emphasis on academic excellence, good sportsmanship, and character development.
  • A demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, coaches, and administration.
  • Full background check required for hire.
  • CPR and first aid certified or able to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Working with scholar-athletes to develop skills, knowledge, and virtues in Soccer.
  • Communicating with parents, officials, athletes, and coaches.
  • Working with coaching staff to implement training and game plans.
