This role involves planning, organizing, and conducting practice sessions, conditioning programs, and competitive events for junior high football. The coach will teach fundamental skills, strategies, and techniques specific to the sport, while also monitoring and assessing athletes’ performance, development, and fitness levels. A key aspect of the role is ensuring the safety, well-being, and academic balance of all team members, maintaining discipline, respect, and a positive team culture. Responsibilities also include coordinating with athletic trainers, academic staff, and other coaches, maintaining equipment, uniforms, and facilities, and adhering to all institutional, conference, and governing body rules and regulations.
