Looking to take the next step in your career? Hatch is seeking a dynamic Junior Health and Safety Advisor. Reporting to the Project Delivery Group, you will support offices globally working from our Pittsburgh, PA office location. We’re entrepreneurs with a technical soul. Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Understanding of worker safety standards and their applications
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support Hatch offices and projects

Responsibilities

  • Assist in promoting an active health and safety culture
  • Provide health and safety advice for staff and managers
  • Assist in implementing the health and safety management systems and contribute to its continuous enhancement
  • Interface with field staff and support project site work as necessary
  • Provide administrative support
  • Promote effective communication and dissemination of relevant health and safety information
  • Coordinate health and safety training
  • Keep abreast of developments in health and safety legislation and practice, and act upon any changes accordingly
  • Prepare reports on health and safety
  • Perform assignments related to your sector
  • Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects
  • Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications
  • Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects
  • Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
