About The Position

The Junior Graphic Designer supports the firm’s brand presence through engaging, high-quality visual content across digital and print platforms. This role works closely with the Senior Marketing Brand Manager and collaborates across teams to develop assets that align with Dean Dorton’s visual identity and enhance both external marketing and internal communications. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented designer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to learn and grow while contributing fresh ideas and innovative design solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within a marketing, agency, or corporate environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Strong attention to detail with an eye for typography, layout, and color
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and social media design best practices

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with video editing and motion graphics tools (Premiere Pro or After Effects a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Support the firm’s brand and marketing initiatives through creative content development, requiring a variety of tasks that may include: Designing marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, social media graphics, event signage, and advertisements
  • Creating visual assets for digital platforms such as the website, email campaigns, and internal newsletters
  • Ensuring all creative aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent visual identity
  • Assisting with video, photography, and multimedia projects as needed
  • Communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand creative needs
  • Receiving and incorporating feedback into design iterations
  • Balancing multiple projects while meeting deadlines and upholding quality standards
  • Partnering with the Senior Marketing Brand Manager to evolve and uphold brand identity
  • Organizing design files, templates, and brand assets for team-wide access
  • Proactively learning new design tools, trends, and techniques
  • Supporting firmwide employee communications and internal initiatives with visual assets
  • Participating in team meetings, process improvements, and brainstorming sessions
