About The Position

EncorEstate Plans empowers trusted advisors with the highest quality estate planning service so clients complete estate plans that protect what matters most. Built for advisors, Encore combines modern technology, professional support, and human oversight to keep advisors at the center of the estate planning process and ensure plans are completed and funded as intended, without practicing law. We’re a small, fast-moving team focused on real customer impact, thoughtful product design, and leveraging the latest advances in AI-assisted development. We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who enjoys building products, solving problems, and continuously learning. You’ll work closely with the CTO, Product team, and other engineers to build and improve software used by financial advisors every day. This role combines hands-on development, product collaboration, and ownership of meaningful features and projects. You’ll have the opportunity to expand your technical skills, deepen your product understanding, and grow your impact over time.

Requirements

4+ years of professional software development experience
Shipped and maintained production software
Owned features from implementation through deployment
Enjoy solving problems and taking ownership of outcomes
Care about code quality, maintainability, and thoughtful engineering
Use AI development tools as part of your workflow
Communicate clearly and collaborate well with others
Are comfortable working across the stack and learning new technologies as needed
Proactively look for ways to improve the product, team, and engineering practices
Thrive in small teams where flexibility, initiative, and continuous learning are valued

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain product features with a focus on usability, reliability, and quality.
Own features and projects from implementation through deployment while partnering with teammates to deliver reliable, high-quality software.
Use modern AI development tools to accelerate coding, testing, research, and prototyping. Continuously explore new ways to improve productivity and quality.
Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to understand customer needs and deliver meaningful improvements.
Contribute to testing, observability, performance, and developer tooling so the team can ship confidently and efficiently.
Continue developing your technical expertise, product thinking, and understanding of customer needs while expanding your impact across the business.
