Requirements

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to read a tape measure.
Ability to operate overhead cranes.
Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures.
Ability to be a team player, who can interrelate and operate effectively with peers and other associates within a collegial, yet demanding, work environment.
Organizational skills and flexibility in managing changing priorities.
Communication skills – both written and oral.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Read and follow detailed written instructions and fabrication drawings.
Perform accurate measurements and calculations using feet, inches, and fractions.
Operate carbon air-arc equipment for back gouging processes.
Ensure safe work practices are adhered to, and appropriate PPE is worn at all times.
