About The Position

This role supports the Real Property targeted mission areas where the Army requires specialized financial expertise. You will join a team of consultants dedicated to improving the accuracy, reliability, and auditability of Army financial data while supporting mission-critical operations.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in Federal financial management, or commercial finance and accounting. A paid internship can count towards the experience requirement.
Experience supporting: Real Property Financial Management.
Experience working with general ledgers, financial statements, reconciliations, audit artifacts, or financial systems.
Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance.
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (or qualifying experience instead of degree, as applicable).

Nice To Haves

Prior client-facing consulting experience is preferred.
Proficiency with data tools such as SQL, Python, Databricks, Power Platform, or similar technologies.
Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Support Real Property (RP) data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of asset records in systems such as GFEBS, iNFADS, and DPW source systems.
Support site visits and physical inventory procedures to validate the existence, condition, and completeness of real property assets, including performing asset walkthroughs, tagging verification, photographic documentation, and reconciliation of assets to system records in support of audit testing.
Assist with RP process/control walkthroughs and testing, including documenting business processes, controls, and supporting evidence related to real property lifecycle events.
Perform tie-outs and variance analysis between real property subsidiary systems and the general ledger to support audit readiness.
Help prepare and organize RP audit artifacts, schedules, and PBC (Provided by Client) documentation for internal reviews and external auditors.
Support capitalization, depreciation, and asset classification reviews under DoD and Army real property accounting guidance.
Track and remediate Real Property Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and assist with updating remediation status.
Draft clear RP working papers and summary memos in accordance with FIAR documentation standards.
