The Junior Field Engineer supports the readiness, integration, and technical performance of GARC systems and associated platforms operating in fleet environments. The role provides hands-on engineering support, system troubleshooting, configuration validation, technical documentation, and field operations during overseas deployments lasting 90–120 days, followed by approximately 30 days in CONUS before the next deployment cycle. The position is onsite, with up to 75% OCONUS work and the remaining work in Baltimore, Maryland. Work takes place in industrial, austere, maritime, and on-water environments, supporting technical operations, system integration, research, development, test, and evaluation (RDTE) events, and fleet exercises. Overseas assignments may include remote or hazardous locations and require signed consent to deploy. The role is not typically customer-facing, but may involve occasional direct work with fleet stakeholders, operators, or supporting organizations during deployments, testing, or training. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical training in a relevant engineering field is required, along with at least one year of related experience. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain or maintain a Secret DoD clearance are required.
