Requirements

Complete 2 or more years of Construction Technology or Engineering Program, such as: Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction Management.
Experience using Bluebeam
Proficiency in Microsoft Sharepoint
Intermediate level of experience using Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

Participate in structured and on-the-job training to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Project Estimator role. Training activities may include: Researching provincial specifications to ensure regulatory compliance during project execution. Performing detailed quantity take-offs and preparing accurate estimates for both direct and indirect project costs. Responding to pricing inquiries and requests for clarification.
Collaborate with Project Managers and Project Coordinators to support estimating activities and project planning efforts.
Help with the Identification, evaluation, and tracking of tender opportunities, as well as assist with the preparation and submission of bid proposals.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by assisting with assignments aimed at enhancing internal processes and tools.
